Welcome to IWF Vancouver

The International Women’s Forum (IWF) promotes women in leadership by providing a platform for female leaders to meet peers in other countries as well as in their own locations. Through international programs and conferences, women leaders enjoy enriching and positive exchanges.

From its start in 1982 (in the U.S.), IWF has grown to include more than 5000 of the world's top women leaders. Membership is a cornucopia of the world’s brightest and best – from Prime Ministers to senior politicians, rocket scientists to rock stars, leading medical specialists to Supreme Court judges. There are 66 affiliated forums in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.

IWF is an organization which allows women leaders to network globally across borders, across cultures and across the world.

WHAT?

IWF Vancouver

IWF Vancouver is an affiliated forum comprised of 80-plus dynamic women.  It includes leading entrepreneurs, corporate executives, artists, scientists, professionals and politicians. Local events take place throughout the year in Metro Vancouver and Victoria, including behind-the-scenes workshops, cultural and sporting events, and presentations by specialists on topics of interest.

WHY?

Why do women leaders throughout the world seek membership in the IWF?

No other organization offers its members the opportunity to connect with such a wide array of exceptional women in so many countries, disciplines and cultures.  IWF has no political or ideological agenda other than to connect women in leadership positions.

HOW?

How do women become members of IWF?

Membership in IWF is by invitation from an affiliate forum.  The Vancouver Forum is guided by definitve international standards which seek to create a diverse membership of highly accomplished women in a variety of fields.  The membership committee reviews prospective candidates and presents their names to the executive board for final approval.
